Pim Pam Pum NGO
Students, professionals, and passionate individuals — all fully committed!

We are an organisation made up of a permanent team of students, professional advisors, and a community of passionate individuals committed to equality and sustainable development, aligned with the United Nations 2030 Agenda goals.
We develop projects in France as well as international cooperation projects.
Our goals
As a student organisation, we have a dual role
Social objectives
Pim Pam Pum encourages students to put their knowledge into practice by developing projects that serve society, with the aim to promote: :
- sustainable development;
- social well-being;
- the eradication of poverty;
- the reduction of inequalities;
- gender equality and cultural diversity;
- clean and accessible energy;
- responsible production and consumption;
- recycling, pollution prevention, and climate action.
Student Objectives
At Pim Pam Pum, students hold leadership positions within the association. Through this experience, they advance in professionalizing their expertise.
Our objectives for students focus on developing professional experience through social work while applying their knowledge for the benefit of society and engaging in the associative spirit, which they can carry forward into new projects in France or help stimulate development in their home countries.
The organization promotes training related to the non-profit sector and the social development of students involved in its projects; fostering the growth of their knowledge, skills, and capacities in a real work environment, thereby enhancing their employability; and optimizing the application of acquired knowledge.
Thanks to collective work involving experts and professionals supporting the student body—both local and international—those involved in developing their roles within the organization can cultivate valuable professional skills.
For the development of projects and the achievement of our goals, we focus on education, fostering creativity, art, and culture.

How was the NGO founded?
Pim Pam Pum was born in Paris as a non-profit student association. It has been formally established since January 6, 2022, under the French 1901 law governing associations.
My personal interest in founding this association is based on my desire to take concrete action for social contribution. As an immigrant, exiled from a country plunged into a severe social and political crisis, I understand the needs and difficulties others may face in similar situations.
On one hand, as a social sciences researcher, I often wonder to what extent the scientific work I do can contribute to the well-being of disadvantaged communities.
On the other hand, as a student, I am motivated by the need to put into practice the knowledge I have gained through my studies, by means of achievable projects that can positively impact society.
Since coming to live in France, I have felt the passion behind the associative model and the significant contribution associations make to the betterment of society in general. This passion is expressed through profound human support, which I have personally benefited from several times since living here. It is a model that seems to work very well to me, which is why I decided to create an association and thus contribute my part.
Although I am pursuing a PhD in anthropology with the goal of working on large social projects in the future; have volunteered with several major NGOs; and had already conceived the idea of creating an association, I did not see it as a feasible project until I met Nicholas Fox Weber.
Despite my experience within large NGOs and in implementing major social projects, as well as my ambition to work at that scale due to my anthropology doctoral studies, it was this encounter that truly crystallized my ambitious project.
This meeting was with Nicholas Fox Weber, an art critic and director of an art foundation and a nonprofit organization founded to provide healthcare and education in Senegal. Through this, I witnessed firsthand in Senegal the strength of such a project and the positive momentum it generates. In other words, I saw that it is possible to realize projects aiming to create a better world. This incredibly enriching experience ultimately pushed me in fine, to create the Pim Pam Pum project.
That is how I realized that so much talent and knowledge can be put into practice to help the most disadvantaged and promote sustainable development, with the goal of building a better world.
Moreover, the design of this project would not have been as effective without the support of Kristel, who is currently the NGO’s treasurer.
When she was nine, I used to talk to her in the swimming pool about the trips I had taken and the things I had discovered through those experiences. I described to her the beauty of the different places I visited and the best aspects of each country...
After these captivating descriptions, I asked her which country she would like to visit and what she would like to learn about them as she grows up, and she replied:
"When I grow up, what I want to do is help the most needy, the poor, the sick..."
From the age of 14, she worked in the accounting department of a family business, and today, at 22, she has already launched several successful campaigns for donating food, toys, and leisure items to hospitalized people, homeless individuals, and children in disadvantaged neighborhoods.
She currently works in administration and studies accounting in France while contributing to the finances of a cultural association. Her desire to help the most vulnerable remains strong, which is why I invited her to join me in launching this associative project.
That’s how this NGO was born in Paris, at the heart of a global health crisis.
Our goal: to work together to foster greater inclusion, with a view to a better future for the world.
I have been fortunate to learn the values that develop within poverty (economic), as well as the richness of the world’s cultural diversity. Thanks to my travels, I have seen so many faces, smelled so many scents, tasted so many flavors; I have explored many places to get closer to different ways of life and, through them, have experienced the inequalities that persist globally. I continue to strive to learn more and more…
Finally, my good fortune has been to understand and embrace the values that grow within economic poverty through travel. In this context, I have become aware of the cultural diversity of the world. I have encountered a plurality of faces, smells, and tastes. In short, I have explored many places to get closer to the various ways of life that make up the world and, through them, I have experienced the inequalities that persist on an international scale. I wish to keep learning constantly, for the sake of the project and society...
I want to be useful to people; I want to bring joy to those around me, even to those I will never meet

The project, as it is designed today (November 2, 2022), has benefited from the support of Pépite at Sorbonne University and the La Ruche network, thanks to which I received coaching from Benoit Galland who guided me in building this project through his extensive entrepreneurial and associative experience.
